Vaser Liposuction

Men and women gain and retain excess fat in different areas of the body. Some of these areas are particularly hard to reduce fat through diet and exercise alone and can even be tough to remove through traditional liposuction methods. With the help of VASER liposuction, physicians now have an effective tool to remove troublesome fat from virtually anywhere on the body without extensive surgery or the potential risks. At My Imperial Care, we are pleased to offer our patients with this effective fat reduction procedure.

About VASER Hi-Def Liposuction

VASER liposuction is a revolutionary fat reduction procedure that can be used for minor touch-ups to major transformations. VASER lipo can be used to treat large areas of unwanted fat or smaller very specific areas to finely sculpt, adding definition. It can help with those stubborn areas, such as love handles, that will not shift through diet and rigorous exercise alone and can improve your overall shape by adjusting your proportions.

The Procedure of Tooth Filling

In order to perform VASER liposuction, tumescent fluid will be introduced into the treatment area. Tumescent fluid is a customizable solution of saline, epinephrine, and an anaesthetic. Tumescent fluid constricts blood vessels and causes the fat cells to swell, thereby making them easier to target and gently remove.

Next a few small incisions in places that will be easily concealed by the natural folds of the body will be made. Once the slim VASER cannula has been inserted into the treatment area, our surgical team will begin targeting the unwanted fat with ultrasound energy. A tiny fibre will emit ultrasound waves from the tip of the cannula, which will help to emulsify fat. The emulsified fat will be gently suctioned from the area.

Troublesome fat will be eliminated and the fat and tissue around the muscles will be sculpted to accomplish a more defined, muscular look. The ultrasound energy has the benefit of promoting tissue contracture, resulting in less bleeding and tighter skin tone.

Once the desired contour has been achieved, the tiny incisions will be closed with fine sutures and bandaged. The entire procedure is designed to minimize strain on the body and maximize the degree of body contouring our surgeons can achieve.

VASER lipo is rapidly replacing the traditional liposuction technique thanks to a host of patient advantages. Some of the many benefits of this procedure include:

  • Smoother and more predictable results;
  • Minimal pain and bruising;
  • Faster recovery times;
  • Improved skin retraction (skin tightening);
  • Standard VASER is gentle enough to be performed under local anaesthetics;
  • Precise sculpting of delicate areas of the body;
  • Realistic curves and definition, even for hard-to-fix spots;
  • Easy removal of large quantities of fat.

Traditional liposuction procedures involve the removal of fat deposits using suction. This process is not tissue-selective and will remove not only unwanted fat but also cause damage to surrounding blood vessels, nerve tissue, and connective tissue. Due to the high suction levels required, the trauma to the patient is always much higher with traditional liposuction which leads to larger areas of bruising and longer downtime. VASER lipo uses ultrasonic technology which is tissue selective; the ultrasound energy targets unwanted fat whilst preserving important tissues such as nerves, blood vessels, and collagen. The patient suffers less trauma and therefore less bruising and a much quicker recovery time.

Liposuction can be used in most areas of the body. VASER lipo goes one step further and treats even the “hard to reach” areas of the body. The areas that can be treated using VASER lipo include:

  • Double Chin
  • Breasts
  • Stomach
  • Upper Back
  • Banana Roll
  • Knees
  • Neck
  • Bra Fat
  • Waist
  • Mid Back
  • Inner Thigh
  • Calves
  • Arms
  • Chest
  • Hips
  • Lower Back
  • Outer Thigh
  • Ankles
